Does the American release of MM1 DVD contain the original un-dubbed sound track? If so is it given the "Dolby Surround" re-mix treatment?
The box [if that is what its called] just talks about haveing both "wide screen" and "pan and scan" as well as re-mixed "surround" sound for the film [I don't have a DVD player yet]

I have both the american release and the Japanese import release that contains the original non dubbed voices. The american one only contains the non dubbed voices. Unless there is some new release out that I have not heard of.

The only place to get Mad Max on DVD with the Aussie dialog is the Japanese import, which is Region 2, since the US is Region 1, you'll have to have the DVD player modified, or get a "region free" player. Hope this helps.
