You need a leather jacket, leather pants and motorcycle boots, at least. I know you're in the UK, but see if you can get to a company online at http://www.sportsmansguide.com. I don't know if they ship to the UK, but they do sell reasonably priced leather jackets, pants and boots, along with passable leather driving gloves. If you see something you want, and they don't ship to the UK, let me know and I'll purchase here and ship to you at cost. Will also send a pretty cool toy shotgun if it won't get you in trouble. There's an Airsoft one, but it's hundreds of US dollars. This is a plastic suction dart gun that is passable. See if Mom and Pop OK it. And the local Bobbies... I can see it now: International Incident! Arms Dealer Corrupts Youth! Gun Happy Yank Incites Violence!

Black jeans work if you can't get leathers right away. As far as the belt, look for a belt with two sets of holes, and pop rivet a thinner belt to it long enough to go over your shoulder. Refer to photos. You can make a holster out of scrap leather from the craft store or salvaged from ruined jackets, skirts, leather couches, etc. Just make a tube and a tab at the top to slide the belt through.

Shoulder pad is available at sporting goods stores/thrift stores. Maybe? I don't know what the situation is like in the UK. Obviously not as much American Football equipment around.

Look in the costuming section for further hints. The Punisher and Karol have done a good job covering most of the details. Once you get your costume together, try my trick of putting corned beef hash in a dog food can. Always a crowd pleaser...

Good luck!

Dan,

You have any luck putting together your costume? Do y'all celebrate Halloween over there? Or is it Guy Fawkes Day? I'm not feeling very international today...
