You've found the best Mad Max Forum...
I don't want to see or to listen to:
-Robert Downey Jr.,
-Pamela Anderson,
-a full Hip Hop soundtrack (buaahh!)
Do want to see:
-a svelte Mel Gibson
-strange vehicles
-armys of barbarians
-violence & crashs
cheers
So is Mel Gibson really a bit chubby? I noticed in Signs, he seems to have a slight stomach that you can see through his shirt.

FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS DOWNLOAD FURY ROAD!
What I do and don't want to see in MM4
I have an idea on what they should do for Fury Road. Taking from the above idea's.
Max stumbles into a rebuilt city, still lots of ruins, but mostly rebuilt. People are trying to rebuild their lives and civilization. Since max is a outlander, he is watched cautiously. He gets into a fight in town and thrown in jail. The group that comprises the peacekeeping force start talking to max and find out that max is an ex MFP officer. He is eventually let out and becomes one of them. He wants to help these people and be a part of something again. The town has gas and oil, hence cars and other machinery. He meets up with the gyro captain and the feral kid. This is the place that they were all headed in MM2.
Then the bad guys show up. A few at first. Then more of them. Max and the others are cruising around trying to keep the peace. Max interrogates one of the captured guys and finds out that there is a large group that is going to attack the town and take it over for themselves. Max and the others are sent out to stop this from happening.
Hence the "FURY ROAD" title.
Lots of cars crashing, people dying, and chases. The leader of the new MFP dies and max takes over as the leader of the MFP. They get rid of the first wave of scum to find this city, and they can relax. Max meets a girl. He falls for her and starts rebuilding his life. He opens up to her and tells her his story about where he has been and who he was. Max Rockatansky. MFP officer who lost everything in the old world.
More scum shows up. Max decides that he will lead the MFP out to get rid of this trouble. They fight the bad guys and beat them. But max is mortally wounded. He is brought back and before he dies, he talks to the girl he has fallen for. He tells her that it is ok, that he has found what he had lost so long ago. He is happy. He slowly slips away. He is buried in a graveyard next to someone elses grave that shares the same name as him. As it turn out, this civilization is built in the same area that he once lived. When the city was being built, there were graves in the area, and the local people decided that this will be there graveyard. It is the same place that max buried his Jess and Sprog. His life has come full circle.

What I do and don't want to see in MM4
Hunter,
It sounds really really great to me, too bad Max would die at the end.
I suggest another end. The end which TORMENTED me and my mind FOR months... a vision, call it that way.
Max is mortally wonded, but still alive. The chase scene is over. The good guys are the winners. Max comes back to the city, and a decision has been taken in his mind. He MUST connect City ONE with other upcoming, resorted cities... a mission of peace... re-unificate civilization... Australia's comeback, kind of. So, the mechanic who modified the vehicles for the bloody chase scene, revealed the big surprise for Max... a NEW BLACK'N'BLACK, never seen before or throughout the FOURTH MOVIE, a coupe of grace. Max kisses the girl for the last time, saying her "goodbye". He sit down on the Interceptor and drove away. The movie closes up with psychedelic, fast, tough shots of the BLACK'N'BLACK running towards the sunset in the desert, and MAX lookin' the horizon. Hard rock but epic music like soundtrack. No MAD MAX 5, but his journey is JUST BEGINNING and we can only imagine it... dream about it, that's all.
That's the definitive end.

I'm just so glad Mel Gibson agreed to be in Fury Road. I'm not making any predictions of what it will be like and most of the ideas I've seen are very lame. I'm trusting George Miller will give us something extraordinary. It's been 18 years, so I'm sure he's gotten a lot of great ideas over the years and is assembling them all into a kick-ass movie.
I just can't wait to see Mel tearing it up in the outback again. Can you believe this? We're actually getting a fourth Mad Max movie!!
I'd like to see an interesting vehicle for Max , even though it might not be a car. I don't want to see the Feral Kid or Tina Turner or the Gyro Captain either because it clearly said that at the end of the Road Warrior it was the last the Feral Kid ever saw of Max.
I also don't want to see Max fall in love with another woman or have a son, which would make absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Does anyone know how far in the future this one will take place? How many years after Thunderdome is it?
There's a lot I want to see, like a really great villain, two vehicles crashing head-on into each other, just a lot of the themes and motifs from the first three films.

Subtlety and grace is what the orininal had, and cgi obsessed mainstream action movies today just want to be loud and dumb. If MM4 is to be a success, it has to be an independent venture: privately funded and made on a shoestring. Where is all that 75 million going? Is Miller more interested in the changes of landscape in a post-apocalypse world (which has been done ad-infinitum), or the individuals and their psychology? You don't need money to show that.....

OK, I get it. If I don't wind up with Kylie, does anyone know if Natalie Imbruglia available?

Chrisb - i think a lot of the subltetly and grace in the original was a result of the fantastic soundtrack from Brian May. He sure knew how to set the scene, I hope George M can find someone who is able to do likewise in FR.
Personally I would like to see a darker Max with Matrix-overtones and a violent sub-human/Gothic culture, who are intent on removing all non-Goths/normal humans from the vast desert wastelands . Not the effects of Matrix, but more the weird storyline, this would possibly allow 'flashback' episodes on Max's part. The possibilities here are endless. Plenty of room for violent clashes with the clone army of sub-humanoid trogs.
In his quest to finally put the ghosts of his past to rest, Max may well find himself driving around on the big Highway in the Sky. An appropriate finale.
please George put some scags in it !!! even Rocky VI had boxing ferchrisake !!!\

I'm nearly convinced that the new one will have many computer-generated images. Miller makes what people of today do want to see (lol).
I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.
