these were both in the local tasmanian newspaper THE MERCURY, a fortnite apart from each other, goddamn awesome man two seperate car's but the same model in the same paper a fortnite away from each other, how freaky is that, and not just any model, but none other than MAX ROCKATANSKY'S vehicle from hell... i wonder if they'd take a NISSAN BLUEBIRD as trade? it's registered...
wow, of the few Falcons i've seen in our Car Trader magazines here in the states...it looks like we are both paying the same price(in theory) for these cars.
you get many Falcons in the US? and do people who get them convert the steering column to suit your roads? or do they keep em right hand drive for collectible purposes?
mfpmax, that's in Australian dollars, a little over half of what US dollars are. $11,500 AU would be $7000.00 (?) US, maybe. Somebody please correct me if I'm off on the exchange rate.
rockatansky4073, yeah, we have about 40-50 Falcon XA-XC's here in the US. Nobody had converted to LHD as far as I know. I have a John Goss Special, one of about 2-3 here. There are about 15 Interceptor replicas, and quite a few XA-XBGT's. Plus a couple Cobra XC's.
Check out madmaxcars.com or Aussiecoupes.com, or some of the other links for getting a Falcon. There's also a Yahoo group or three for Falcon owners.

No, don't mean with the exchange rate, I mean...i've seen them in Collector Car Trader and Ford/Mustang trader for the same amount in USD, meaning $11,500 US...not the same price with exchange.
Their getting rare down here, in tasmania i mean, though there are alot of XC COBRA's about 4 in hobart alone (that i know of anyway) lot's of four doors but the COUPE is getting scarce, maybe you US buggers are grabbing them all. ; )
You know what # Cobras? There's a couple guys on the Yahoo group that have nice Cobras. And 2-3 here in the US. We're gonna buy all your coupes and make 'em into Interceptors! Muahahaha!!! Soon, there will be nothing left, it'll be all gone, to paraphrase the Nightrider...
Seriously, once we get 'em, we take care of 'em. I'm restoring a Gossie that would have ended up in the crusher, or driven into the ground and junked by unappreciative Aussie teens. Every owner over here is serious about taking care of the Falcons.
well... that's good then, my father would come back from the grave and kick arse if he saw a FALCON mistreated. I don't know why he let MILLER get away with it though. maybe cause they had good paint jobs...
