A relative and I met Vernon Wells at RoadWar Northwest in August 2007. Vernon was gracious, modest, and funny. We have Vernon and his wife Grace in our prayers for safety, strength, and recovery.

Sad news from Hollywood.
Vernon Wells who played Wez in Mad Max 2 had just lost his house and everything he had in Los Angeles wildfires. Despite this loss, he said it would not break his spirit. We're hoping he recovers quickly and to everyone in the area: please stay safe.

Yes, Vernon and his wife Grace and their dog just had time to flee the place before it was all burnt down. They had to leave everything behind... They lost everything, included Wez's costume from MM2...
