Stone (1974), Australian biker film that inspired MM1

I've been voraciously devouring Taipan's "Mad Max Bible" videos on YouTube, and in one of his videos, in which he talks about the making of MM1, and the various existing franchises and genres from which Kennedy and Miller drew inspiration, Taipan tells us about "Stone," a movie about bikers, which foreshadowed many elements that would later appear in MM1.

Stone was set in the present day, and not the future, but based on the clips, stills, and info Taipan includes in his video, there are many stunning parallels with Mad Max, and even a few of the same cast and crew!

I figured this movie might be obscure enough that I would have trouble finding a copy, but, lo and behold, you can watch it for free (with ads) on Tubi TV:

I've not yet had a chance to watch it, but I am intrigued, and I'm doing to give it a try soon.
