Nux steering wheel

Post by DeLano80 »

I am working on Nux's steering and have two pieces left to identify. Does anyone know who made the wheel for the movie?

]I would also love to have some pictures of the contraption on the bottom of the dolls head and the thing between the bezel and the dolls face. I have looked at every picture on the net, so anything could be useful and is appreciated!
Please see attatched image for what I am talking about. I could really use more pictures of the neck contraption from the other side. And the "thing". No idea what that is against the face either.

Cheers!

P.S. Why are there so many bot posts in this forum? It is crazy.

Try these - I have a few more if you want them, but they're mostly variations of these same shots (save the pic, or scroll the window around - it's a high res file, and is too big to fit on screen in the message properly). This wheel also has some differences to your shot, there were at least 2 of these cars, which would feature differently (some close-ups, some driven for wide shots, etc).

First, thank you so much! These are the first shots I have seen from that side. I really appreciate it!
And yes, there are some differences, but the wheels were "basically" the same. It is curious that the gears are gone, though. It interests me to see how these wheels gradually had fewer and fewer pieces on them. From your pictures, it looks a bit like a spool holder off a sewing machine. I am off to work now but will go over them thoroughly.

If you do have more, even if they are similar, I would love to see them. There is a lot of details in that car. The quality and resolution of your pictures are fantastic.

Again, I thank you for your help!
Mike
