The good thing about the final film is that Fury Road works as a standalone, or 'reboot' if you like,
as well as a sequel to the original trilogy. A minor miracle...
Like Mel in the first trilogy, Tom Hardy as Max gets a complete fleshed out mini-arc in Fury Road.
