Flub or Easter Egg?

When Slit down shifts and punches the gas to run Max down in the razor cola the boot shown is Max's rossiter copy. Is this a flub re using another shot from the cutting room floor of Max's or Nuxs foot in that boot. Or did Slit pick those boots up offscreen in the bog from the Bullet Farmers wreck where Max took the bullet farmers sidekicks Under Armor boots ?

Reminds of the LOTR behind the scenes where they point out how they were missing footage so they just edited in Aragorn's face from other scenes over a body double.

I find this fine but the PTSD flashback parts where Immortan's armada from later in the film runs over Glory really annoys me. It seems so cheap and out of place.
