Mitch, be sure to check out the links section on the web page, everyone with a web site should already be listed (and if they're not, it's their own fault for not telling me!)

mea culpa on the eh wagon, i meant to type ute, but my fingers were on a

stop work meeting and the mangerial instructions were ignored.

I think there was a demarcation dispute arising from shock at the existence of a recently arrived ersatz toe cutter on the board.

Of course to complete the pushbike ensemble, you need one of those gumby flow through helmets.

I think the recovery xabc ute would look awesome.

Well, if somebody can tell me how to loosen up this danged distributor, I'll buy 'em a Fosters... Locked up tighter than sh... What's a good upgrade?

Anyway, thanks to all for the info. I'm having a ball going thru the car and figuring out what's what. It's so weird, because the car is familiar enough, seems like an American '70's Ford, but subtle differences keep throwing me. It's like an alternate reality.

Pete, post your concept picture of the ute. Everybody I showed it to got a big kick out of it.

How many Toecutters do we have? Anklecrankers? Kneecappers? Thank God there's only one Wrinkles. The original. Often imitated, never duplicated.

Well, gotta go wrench on the distributor some more...

Hmmm, an MFP ute, can't wait to see it! It's even got me thinking of repainting my old Toyota Lite-Stout one tonner in MFP colours. I'm also considering taking the spray gun to my Suzuki Hayabusa & painting it similar to Goose's Kwaka, whatta ya reckon people??

Hi Bronze21

Have a look at my rather clumsey effort under the topic MFP Ute for sale ... I did this on my laptop in MS Paint so factor that in ... there is also the original pic showing the car as is.

Bronze21 - you can't just post it on the board, it needs to be on a server somewhere and you basically post a link to it. Email it to Peter and he will do it or email me and I will put it up for you - mailto:[email protected]

Mitch-

Was it you that had the John Goss Special here stateside? If so, what do you think of these for the vanity plates;

GOSSLNG

GOSLNG1

GOSSLNG1 (If you can do 8, like NY)

GOSSLING (Ditto)

Just thinking about it and thought it'd be cool to do a play on words/meanings.

Bronze21, thanks for thinking of me! Yeah, I've got one of the Gossies over here. Unfortunately, I only get six characters and a dash. Makes MAD MAX, MAD-MAX, MADMAX easy, but not so easy beyond that. I already have MFP on the black Mach 1. If I do the Interceptor route, there's plenty of choices, as we've seen with Mark's quest. Hadn't thought about Goss related plates... JGS springs to mind, GOSS SP, J-GOSS, etc. And your point about Goss/Gosling crossovers is well taken. Would be an 'insider' thing...

Good thinkin' !
