A good breadown of Fury Road's symbolism
Linky link - a couple of the things it mentions slightly miss the mark, or are a bit of a reach, but this is still the best breakdown of the symbolism in Fury Road I've seen (and brings up things I hadn't thought about regarding moments of selflessness)

It's amazing what people can read into Fury Road I skimmed through the last few paragraphs because its a load of crap

Some really good ideas are raised in this article that give Fury Road's seemingly laughable plot many deep layers. It's always important to remember that symbolism and theme are not always injected with conscious intent - in its madness, Fury Road may have stumbled upon a degree of sanity society is lacking.

Wow that was heavy, I picked up on a few of these things on further watches but this is brilliant or crazy. I'm not sure yet.
