Broken Hill replica for sale...

Post by roadwarriormfp »

Well it seems that the former Broken Hill replica is up for sale again. (The original owner Chris had sold it last year i think?)

It seems the new owners are trying to con people in thinking this is a genuine promo car.. and asking a disgusting amount of money for a busted up XC Falcon
What a joke and another fraud exposed!

Cheeky bastards...

Built with the same parts as the originals? Lord have mercy, the nerve of that statement. I guess Fury Road's popularity is as good a reason as any to flog it and scam someone out of 85 grand.

The chain in those handcuffs is high-tensile steel, it'll take you ten minutes to hack through it with this, now if your lucky ? you can hack through your ankle in five minutes. Go !

WTF? LOL, Fok dat.

Even $35k would be rude. Whilst I appreciate it's history as "Australia's most mistaken vehicle" that really adds minimal to it's value. Aside from that it's a pretty average hardtop. If it hadn't lived most of it's life in Silverton it would be $20-$25k MAX (no pun intended). I would understand a possible premium of 50% on top for it's history but even that would be pushing it.

Hell I just sold an Interceptor replica project that had genuine Fury Road Interceptor parts on it. I didn't see that as value adding, just a nice link to the films for the new owner to use as a talking point.
