Pics of the 'Interceptor Wreck', Snake Car and Buggy

Post by SAM B R.W »

I managed to sneak a few snaps of these on my recent journey to Broken Hill and Silverton. Quite sad to find them outside collecting more rust, and not in the museum.

Yeah, some of that stuff looks decent still so imagine how preserved it would be if it had been kept inside somewhere for all these years. Thanks for posting these.

cool to see they're existing, although there's little of the BoB left.

Thank you for the pics.
Awesome to see them and sad at the same time.

You would think that if who ever owns them now isn't really interested in more then letting them sit outside like junk that he could at least donate them to that fella who runs the Mad Mad 2 museum with the Mural outside.

He could at least haul them in back build a shed around them.

always check these out when im in broken hill, they would be better off on display.
The chain in those handcuffs is high-tensile steel, it'll take you ten minutes to hack through it with this, now if your lucky ? you can hack through your ankle in five minutes. Go !
