That photo is taken from the "cut scene" in which Maxs is bandaging his wounds after being shot in the knee.

The footage of it was used in the opening montage on MM2
We are 100% snafu....

Wow, Surely this proves the rough cut of Mad Max 2 exists with the original extended introduction.

I remember the first time I saw MM1 was when it was televised and probably the second time as well, the scene where he dressed his wounds by the stream was in the movie to replace the cut scenes when it was edited for television here in the states. It was before everyone had vcr's. the scene that was cut I think it was the impala scene. I know it was there cause I was like " where'd the f it go" when I bought it on vhs years later. Yje scene I want to see is the drag race between max and goose. Supposedly max rides the bike and goose drives Max's yellow interceptor. I've seen a still posted a few times of it, but not sure the scene was completely filmed or not.

The drag race scene must have occurred, because they wouldn't stage a shoot for no purpose on a shoe string movie. The scene I want to see is where Jess throws a birthday cake at a biker as he moon her. Both Joanne Samuel and Grant Page have told me it was filmed. Grant almost went off the bike and said he was wiping icing out of his ass for ages :-)

Need to find out if if copies of it exist through TV (normal local station) or Cable channels (HBO, Showtime). Every movie from that era has at least 3 - 6 different versions of it. there was the theatrical release, (US, European) video versions, Televised, cable versions (which could have a couple different versions depending what channel it was). It's wasn't like it is now . I've actually seen 7 different versions of the movie The Goonies
