Re: HEAVY SPOILERS ! references to the old movies
Taking a huge tanker truck to reach a green far land. But this time it's not for "breeding" but for escaping it !

Good one!
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Re: HEAVY SPOILERS ! references to the old movies
As soon as I saw that, I was like yes!!!The eyes popping out during a flashback.
the way max uses his empty shotgun making people think its loaded
or his jacket which is just like the one from MM2, with the shoulder pad
or how he used the bolt cutters as a club. like in mm2
or how Immortan Joe used like a loud speaker/mic to talk to a group of people, like Humungas.
obvious things I guess!

Also! that guy in Mad Max 3, the one who tries to drive that car using a frying pan towards the end, looks just like Immortan Joe's team!

Nux and Slit fighting over who is driving - Roop and Charlie
Nux hitting the Nitrous and the car taking off with flames shooting out the exhaust - Wez and the Humungous truck
Max strapped to the front of Nux's vehicle like the victims strapped to the front of the Humungous truck
The emotionless assessments of the Organ Mechanic "Another month and we'd have had a viable human being" - the Doctors in Mad Max. Unless you just believe all doctor's behave that way - I don't, but maybe George Miller's personal experience! Certainly plenty of other medical references and procedures in there on his behalf too.

Damn, the references keep piling up
I now remember that they where saying they where going in a particular direction, maybe. Very similar to the piece with the mechanic in MM1

Re: HEAVY SPOILERS ! references to the old movies
Like I said, there are just so many nods back to the original trilogy, I couldn't believe how many there were. Whether they're all fully intended, or whether they're just particular scenes or interactions that worked so well originally that they were blended in again, who knows. I suspect most likely a mixture of both.Nightwalker wrote:Damn, the references keep piling up![]()
