Hello I'm new....moving on,
I've looked through most of the threads yet I've not read anyone mentioning what appears to be a case/box of the oh so yummy Dinki Di dog food the Max scarfs down in the back inside cab of the V8 in MMRW. The case sits behind the Gyro Captain when he's been tied up and guarded at gun point by "Dog".
To me it this case shows how well prepared with food and supplies Max has become for himself and "Dog". It also shows how much Max has lost most of his sympathy for other humans by basically enslaving the Gyro Cap and not caring to feed him from his stock.
Not big news but I just wanted to point out the case.

First of all, welcome on board.
It is just about survival. At this point Max only thinks about himself. He has found that case of Dinki Di and just want to do as long with it as possible. At the beginning when he got in control of the Gyro Captain Max learns that he can point him out to a great load of guzzaline. After the Gyro Captain has shown him the compound he keeps him captured. Because if he would let him go now there would be a chance that he would be caught by the Humungus gang and that they will find out about Max on top of that hill overlooking everything. But Max has no need for the Gyro Captain anymore. (At this point he, and we the viewers, don't know yet that he has to retrieve the truck with the help of the Gyro Captain). So why would he feed the Gyro Captain if he has no further use for him. He got the information of him he wanted to know and just got rid of him as soon as possible without risking of giving himself away.

"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
