I don't think we should discount anyone's negative opinions. If we only accept the good feedback then you might as well not read any feedback because you're just reading what you want to hear. Book Of Eli meets Death Race 2000 (remake) with a 300 level of action is what I'm guessing they've gone for.

Sounds like a good action film but the original first two films were beyond simply action films and that's why we are on a message board 30 years later still talking about them. Certain films have lasting impact and certain films you just watch.

One fact that I did question was the idea of Max essentially been incapacitated for the first 30 mins of the movie after been captured by what we can assume is quite a dangerous group of individuals? That hardly sells Max as an effective "warrior". Is there anyway anyone can give (without spoiling too much) a little bit more info on this? Is it a business transaction gone wrong? Does he sacrifice himself in someway? Or does he just lose a road battle?

We absolutely should discard opinions that are subjective, non-constructive and with an agenda. The guy trashing Fury Road was definitely that, and I'm not saying this because I'm a MM fan, I just want a legitimate source of information, and not a report from some overly hyped jackass nor a critic with his PMS kicking in.

i am a bit dis heartened by that review saying the movie is one long chase scene. I was really hoping the movie would have max driving about scavenging and showing him in his wild days (isn't that what tom hardy said when growing his beard for mmfr)..

i hope i am proven wrong and fury road is as good as the other mad max movies...

I don't think I ever heard of a movie where every single person in the theater walked out loving it. The overall consensus seems to be Fury Road is very good or excellent. And that's a big surprise to me after years of development hell and rumors of studio meddling. For the first time I feel relieved and a little less anxious.

I don't know all the details but essentially yes, before the opening credits even roll Max is involved in a road battle and loses.

Here's a possibly stupid question that's bothering me lately. What is the opening title? Does it say Mad Max Fury Road or just Fury Road? To me it says a lot about how they want to market the movie.

Maybe Snortin Joe, yes that's our friend who saw it and giving us the answers wants to go by lol, will answer that later.

I'd guess they'd still want to keep Mad Max in the title to appeal to a wider audience and base but it'd be just Mad Max: Fury Road and not 4 in the title since it's not a continuation of the previous films.

I'm also curious what the title looks like. Does it have the shiny metal look of the previous films?
