"After nearly two years of organising and crossing fingers 'the Guzzolene Express' eventually came 'home' for Xmas! The mad max museum is now the proud owner of the original bus from Mad Max 2. Thanks to the previous owner Geoffrey Yeend of Cummins SA and Don Hoare for supplying the truck and float and making the long journey here. Special thanks to Lyndsey Farrell of Cummins for all your help at your end. Massive thank you to John Taplin and Ben ( the gyro captain ) Taplin from Silverton for getting the bus into the yard, great job guys ."

That's great news, it is amazing it's survived all this time.

thank you so much for posting this. I've written to the owner on facebook and Hope they will help me out so I cam remake the bus in 3D for use in gaming and such. I too am surprised that she survived such as she is now. I wonder if they'll restore her at all? oh well. the fact that she still exists will aid me in my modeling. thanks again for posting this.

Lord
Adrien now has the bus for the museum and is intending to restore it for the mad max museum in Silverton.
I am surprised that the museum and adrien is not more well known on this forum.
Here are two videos that show the museum

Adi is quite well know and respected on this forum. He used to be a regular poster here as he moved his car from country to country, through it various incarnations, and finally relocated to Australia. He stopped posting when there was crap being flung around, but is now living the dream not just talking about it. I have the utmost respect for him, making his dream a reality.
