Re: Help identifying more vehicles?
The FX is indeed the one in your other photo, trying to slash the tyres. It does get covered in spikes before it appears in the film. It runs over two bikes, then flips when shot by the rear weapon of the Jag. The next time it is seen, it's been stripped of its wheels and is sitting on the car trans...

The side air intakes are most likely for the REAL engine inside the war rig. It's a beast of an engine too - just not two supercharged V8s. As for the wobbling tank on the stripped interceptor - it's not even on the right side, so I guess the warboys have detached it. Another "blooper" tha...

Re: Weird story, but good action move
What I thought about the plot was that it was pure B move. Take away the budget, and that would be exactly what you got. The action carried it.

A fair portion of whatever sort of fuel they were spitting in was leaving the engine unburnt, spurting out the exhaust pipes/stacks as orange flames.

Saw II at least twice - I forgot to take my glasses the first time, so I didn't see it as well as I might have. Saw Thunderdome at least twice. Got there late the the first time, and just missed the opening. He was following his car on foot by then. Unfortunately, when I went to see a long running I...

I think the Farcon is based on an early 80's Ford Mustang: http://www.chooseyouritem.com/autos/photos/61000/61496.1982.Ford.Mustang.jpg & the Venus is an 84 Toyota Supra: http://www.forum-auto.com/uploads/200412/thedjfou_1103175736_supra.jpg It's hard to tell what the Destroyer is, but I think ...
