The Yellow was Torana Mid Chrome Yellow, the Blue was Nissan Blue and the red if Ford Monza red. All these colours were manufactured in the late 1970's so they are relevant to the period these cars were originally built.

Hi There, When we built the Big Bopper Replica for the 25th Anniversary Mad Max Charity Auction , the paint we used was: Torana Chrome Yellow Ford Monza Red Nissan Blue. The correct hella part number for these beacons are as follows:
Base is 2RL003 129-00
Lens is CH1 128001
I have about 8 of the bases and 3 of the lenses, they are movie correct as these were fitted to out fleet of fire engines during the 1970' 1980's.

Daz, When we built your Big Bopper replica, the light bases and revolving light and reflector are movie correct, However the blue lens was hard to come by at the time, Hence why we put the square later model lens on. I can chase them up for you from a friend of mine who can source them if you like. ...
