Re: Fury Road "Black & Chrome" Edition releasing Dec.6th US

$240 for the collection with a plastic interceptor, or $75 for all 8 discs minus the car...
Really? Looks like that lump of plastic and a big box are all your extra $165 get you. No thanks, WB.

Just need to source lots of bits and pieces, and like you, have so many projects going this one just hasn't gotten off the ground yet. Out of curiosity, what did you do for an RHD - dashboard? Scratch built? A...

Re: Fury Road: Furious at the Box office!

I have been to see it 5 times now, different days of the week and different times, and so far every show has been busier than the one before it. this is the one time I don't mind the theater being packed.

Re: 160 days ride?

Yes, he points across the salt, but what he means is that by turning back and making a run for the Citadel she may find the redemption she desires. Whereas riding for 160 days in the direction he points, stating there is nothing but salt, is metaphorically referring to the fact that there is no futu...

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road rated 'R' in the US

just to clarify, our rating system here in the US goes G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17. anyone can go to an R rated movie if accompanied by an adult. NC-17 films are restricted to 17 and older only. They are also very very uncommon. the MPAA wanted something stronger than an R, but the X rating had become sy...

Re: 160 days ride?

I just watched the movie for a fifth time. listening to the dialogue carefully, what is actually said is: "if we leave the tanker here, and load up the motorcycles, we can ride for 160 days." It is never specifically said that it is a hundred sixty days ride across the salt. In fact, it is...

Re: The canyon

If you look when the war rig comes back through, you can see the rockfall has been moved/piled on either side of the arch, opening the pass.

Re: HEAVY SPOILERS ! references to the old movies

Max's interceptor itself....
When we first see it, it is essentially as it is in MM2. The bottom of the nosecone has been removed. However, when the war boys rebuild it, they add back the missing portion as it was in MM1.
