the company ORGANIC HOBBY from japan was supposed to make vehicles like the interceptor,gyrocopter and the humungous vehicle...... i guess its not going to happen but one can dream... i do have the BLUE THUNDER diecast helicopter they made which is incredible...

i hear you,some of those customs can get pricey though...

the autoart weathered interceptor is very limited,has a new dog sculpt and a removable front end ..in the long run it will be more valuable than an unofficial customized one... and its cheaper than the customized one that was being sold on ebay..

over at HOBBY LINK JAPAN, they have pics of the upcoming AUTOART INTERCEPTOR ULTIMATE EDITION... it is real dirty and has a removable front end .....the dog even has a new sitting down sculpt with a bone in his mouth...now you can sit him in the chair attached to the door....

JOHNNY LIGHTNING has an MFP redblue and yellow interceptor out and its an AMX ??? like i said before you will never see any official licensed products from the first mad max movie....george miller owns the rights and he wants an arm and a leg for them.....

i had the dda diecast..it was molded from an australian model kit...neither of which were official liscensed products as well..like i said before the auto art interceptor is the only licensed 1/18 scale replica we will ever see.......

we will never see an official diecast replica like the autoart one from the raod warrior... the reason why they made the road warrior version of the interceptor from autoart is because they got the rights from warner brothers.....you wont see an official version of the interceptor from mad max is be...

aoshima needs to put out a die cast replica of the interceptor....they have the liscence to do it and i dont know wht they dont do it....autoart has already done it and ORGANIC is going to release the vehiclles from the road warrior as well...

the company in japan called ORGANIC just released a replica of the helicopter from the movie blue thunder....they also will be releasing replicas of vehicles from MAD MAX 2 next...i have the blue thunder replica and it is awesome,judging by the quality of that their mad max 2 vehicles shold be great...
