In my opinion, Jerry Lewis, Gene Wilder and Robert Redford (to name a few) have similar facial features to Mel Gibson. If you squint your eyes upon the following images of Mel / Max , you would hardly notice the skin grafts taken from each celebrity.

Yes, at Castlereagh near Penrith for the crash scene back in 2013. The blower setup of the interceptor was taken in 2009 at Leichhardt. The War Rig under a green light was taken at a storage facility in West Botany, also in 2013.
