Re: Which Car Was The Fastest?

[quote="Taipan"]Well, having access to behind the scenes info - they were all really slow:)

I know the Gigahorse is slow in real life, but what kept Nux's car from being a rocket? Or the Razor Cola for that matter?

Which Car Was The Fastest?

So I was watching Fury Road again (still impressed by the action) and I got to wondering what the fastest vehicle was in terms of straight line speed/acceleration. I think it's between Nux's rat rod and the Razor Cola Interceptor. What's your guess?

Re: Things I Learned From the Road Warrior/Trivia

Can anyone tell me what the cause of Max's shotgun misfire was supposed to be? To me it looked like the primer fired but the powder did not for some reason.

Re: No Crossbows?

I don't know if you noticed, but Miller already favored firearms over bow weapons in MMBT. As much as RW suggests there's an underabundance of firearms and ammo in that world I don't think Miller ever wanted to go in that direction, regardless of the generation his movies were aimed at. I didn't se...

Re: No Crossbows?

I might have seen a pic with the shotgun in it. I might have missed it in some scenes.

Re: No Crossbows?

Also, where is Max's shotgun? Come on George, he can't be Max with an M4 and a bunch of magazine pouches.

Things I Learned From the Road Warrior/Trivia

I first saw this movie when I was about 9 and even now 11 years later I'm still learning a lot about it, and things I've missed. Thought I'd share some of the trivia. 1. The music box Max acquires was originally made in Japan. I was fortunate enough recently to acquire one of the exact same model fr...

No Crossbows?

It looks like George has abandoned the crossbows that defined the Road Warrior in favor of everyone suddenly having an Uzi or an M4. Many characters look like commandos all armed to the teeth with machine guns. I thought it was great when Max had one of a very few guns and it was like an object of w...

Re: First Impressions?

I wasn't born when these movies were made (I'm 20) but I grew up with The Road Warrior. This movie is gonna boil down to whether it still has the same "spirit" RW did as far as if I like it or not. If it's too much like Thunderdome I might not. I really hope that George Miller hasn't gone ...

First Impressions?

Hi. It's been a while since I've been on here and I wanted to know what your initial reactions are for MM4. Ok, so mine? Well this looks like a hybrid of the Road Warrior and Thunderdome and I'm not sure if having Thunderdome's camp is good or not. I mean, the RW was great because the camp was mixed...
