Also, a few pages back someone was talking about "Jap Crap"...I'm not a car guy so I don't really know what that means. To me, the MAD MAX films take place "A few years from now..." That means if I watch the first movie today, it still takes place in the future, not the 80s or 9...

Oh come on now, so much nay saying. if you have an amputated arm the only feasible way you can use any kind of projectile weapon is to somehow attach it to your arm so you can use your hand to operate it. In Mad Max 2 Wes had his wrist-mounted crossbow, is essence what is the difference between that...

There are always setbacks with every movie... It's inevitable that a lot of delays and changes are going to happen when production shifts from preparing to shoot in one country to preparing to shoot in another.
