Re: Mad Max 2: Map of Refinery
After I spent hours on hundreds of behind the scene footage and pics, I made this. This will be publish in my upcoming book about Mad Max 2 ! ;) (and maybe as a separate poster) https://scontent-cdg4-3.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/326536479_589173915973823_5133831648845479953_n.jpg?_nc_cat=110&ccb...

Re: RIP NightRider
A little chat I had with Vince, years ago. It's pretty rough, but Vince's interviews are pretty rare !

Re: Miller's alleged "breakdown" during the filming of FR
Of course, nobody will steal Miller's credit. No worries about that.
I was just reacted to this sentence : "FURY ROAD is 100% George Miller. He storyboarded the entire movie. He called the shots. He supervised the editing."

Re: Miller's alleged "breakdown" during the filming of FR
"FURY ROAD is 100% George Miller" I 100% disagree with that. Miller didn't do the storyboards on his own, he didn't edit the film on his own. A movie is a collaborative piece of work. And this idea is a the center of the KMM system since Mad Max 2. There is no "visionnary genius"...

Re: Furiosa vehicles thread
I'm not sure, but I think there are several shots in FR where it's him playing Max already with CGI copy paste of Tom's face. No, man. I don't think so. Yes they did. For exemple for the scene of Max joining Furiosa and the Vuvalinis on his bike, before they go back to the citadel. It's a stunt guy...

Re: Deleted scene. Where was this footage shown?
I think you can find the japanese trailer on youtube, but it wasn't that one. It was a special trailer, longer, edited for the distributors' eyes only. I saw it when I came in Australia for the first time, Peter Barton showed me that stuff on his laptop. If he didn't, I wouldn't know it ever existed...

We can see the color footage of that shot in a special trailer edited for distributors in 1979.
I saw that video once, but I don't have any copy... so I can't be 100% affirmative, but I'm pretty sure about that.%
The Max by the river still is from another shot and it's a picture of the shooting.

Re: Furiosa vehicles thread
When I spoke with Miller in 2015 about Furiosa, I asked him about Max' presence in the movie, something like "it's a prequel so he's not going to be in the movie", and Miller answered me with a little smile, telling me "oh, there's something"... without telling me more. At that t...

Re: "Pappagallo" - why the name?
In the screenplay, he was much more ambiguous and less sympathetic... And at the end Max punchs him in the face because he want to leave the kid behind.
