Praise be to never never land. I wish I had the cash/time/garage to actually fix this baby up.

Re: MADMAXII 30th Anniversary - Broken Hill 2011
So, what happened/is happening?
I am so bummed about missing this. Darn new job. However, I am now seeing enough cashflow to consider building some kind of old car. Maybe not a BoB though. Any Aussie muscle is good muscle.
Anyone want to plan a pilgrimige in Autumn this year? I am long overdue...

Re: BOB update
Mate. She's a beauty. I think the front does need to come up a bit too. But you might find that rear getting a bit lower as the springs settle in. It looks pretty even right now. It would suck to raise the front and have to raise the rear to compensate, after getting new springs. Leave her suspensio...

Re: Mad Max nut travelling to New Zealand. Any suggestions?
Well, it was an amazing trip and an amazing landscape. Nothing mad max-ey to be spoken of but the lack of people/cars on the road was nice.
Too bad I had to drive a Hyundai Getz rather than my ford.
Oh yeah, in NZ it's not a 'white line nightmare' it's a yellow line nightmare.

Re: Mad Max nut travelling to New Zealand. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the replies gang. @MFPNZ, you basically just described my planned trip, but starting in Christchurch, and cutting across Hanmer Springs/springs junction. Not travelling any further north than that. Monteiths brewery in Greymouth is almost a definite must. Daz: I've purchased Monteith's se...

Re: Question for BoB owners
Im only 28 and i have had the car for 7 years this month! Wow. I find it hard to imagine any 21 year old, even a MM obsessed one, having the drive to actually carry out a project like that. Bear in mind I am about the same age as you, and I know I wasn't that focussed a few years ago. My hat is off...

Re: Southbeach vs abbyshot jacket
I know I saw a thread on here from a while back where a guy was making a fibreglass replica of the mouth guard. I'm pretty sure the brand/model of helmet and mouth guard was discussed. I couldn't spot it on the first page of a search, but I'm sure you could find it if you search for 'Goose Helmet' o...

Re: Question for BoB owners
The old man laying in his bed at the aged care facility next to my grandfather seemed to be full of regret. Not for the things he had done, but the things he hadn't. He had a favourite saying which rings in my ears still. "You will never again be as young as you are this year." If you are...

Re: Pip-Boy 3000
Amazing work.
I've been a fallout fan since the first game, and just wanted to say that this is a really cool pip-boy! If you make any more props, please post pics here.
