Re: Mad Max knee pad now available from Southbeach leather

This is great! I was just looking into pieces to make the knee pad (yeah, I'm making the RW outfit for the second time) but this pad looks good enough for me. Thanks for the link!

Rawlings CP46-1 FOR SALE

Well I finally did it! I took off the right plate and arch padding from my vintage Rawlings CP46-1, and the rest is up for sale on eBay (Item # 120530756105). I originally paid $125 + $19.00 shipping, so I hope that I can recoup some of my money :-) I'll post a few pics here. Thanks! a.JPG b.JPG c.J...

Re: MM2/Road Warrior SHOULDER PLATE Inquiry

Hey Karol...it's good to hear from you! Yeah, I was on a role yesterday, started while I was at work and went through the day. I got some great feedback -- thanks! I'm still not sure what to do with these pads yet, but I'll let you know. I'll look for the belt -- that would be a good improvement. Fo...

Re: MM2/Road Warrior SHOULDER PLATE Inquiry

Okay...now I think I'm going to take apart the shoulder pads and redo my plate. I have no plans on using the rest of it, so let me know if you're interested. I may put the rest on eBay, but if you have any ideas, please let me know. It would be nice to recoup some of the money I paid for this :-) He...

Re: MM2/Road Warrior SHOULDER PLATE Inquiry

Sounds good! I'll attach a few photos from last Halloween. I made the whole MM2 outfit last year, not all movie accurate, but there's some thing I'd like to get close to (the plate is # 1). Have a look... Yeah, I got one of the Southbeach jackets and wear it on a routine basis (gets cold in Seattle!...

Re: MM2/Road Warrior SHOULDER PLATE Inquiry

Will do! I'm also moving from the Seattle area to the Los Angeles area at the end of this month. I may not have time to work on any projects but I'll keep in touch. Hoping to make it to RoadWar Weekend later this year!
