What happened, though? What is your interpretation of those scenes?

Re: New Furiosa/Fury Road TIMELINE
I respect and appreciate your efforts to solve the riddle of the F/FR timeline! However, I don't much care for the idea of Max being the product of a vigilante tribe who fancied themselves to be cops, but really weren't. I feel it is completely central to Max's identity that he remembered life befor...

Re: The Wasteland
flightsuit, Apologies for not seeing your reply on Twitter/X. Yes, according to several Web articles I have read, Chumbucket from the 2015 video game Mad Max was the mechanic in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga who showed Furiosa the three-wheeled car. Oh wow, very interesting! Any idea what that character ...

Re: Max and Furiosa love each other in FR
Are you sure Max saved Furiosa in 2052? All we know is that somebody is dragging her across the ground before she wakes up in that charnel house. And what was that charnel house supposed to be? Somebody here said it was cannibals? But it seemed to me like it was a member of the wretched using maggot...

Re: Are these American domestic market cars in Furiosa?
I guess if principal photography was again conducted in Namibia, then shipping a yank automobile over would have been about as easy or hard as bringing cars from Australia. By the way, I noticed in the credits there was some kind of acknowledgement to the community of Broken Hill. So that implies so...

Re: Are these American domestic market cars in Furiosa?
The first one is most definitely Mercury Cougar XRT 1977-1978 That's because the vehicle buyer for Furiosa was asking around for a 3D model of it on Facebook. 263752742_433148141777994_8496289126773241820_n.png Not sure about the other one yet, will have to look into it. "XRT" is a typo o...

Re: The Wasteland
Twitter/X “itinerant amuser” Jake Young @BestJakeYoung A lot of people are picking apart Furiosa's pacing/plot and are confused by the choices made but I'm coming in off two straight weeks of research about the franchise and there's a key thing people need to know to understand what happened. (mini...

Re: Are these American domestic market cars in Furiosa?
Ah, that's very interesting! Honestly, regarding the Pursuit V8, I would have loved for it to have been something like a Holden or an Australian Ford, so the homage to MM1 and MM2 would have been more direct and complete. But maybe Miller and company didn't want to be too heavy-handed in the homages...

Are these American domestic market cars in Furiosa?
I'm curious about a couple of machines here. First we have this vehicle which the Internet Movie Car Database has ID'd as a 1977 Mercury Cougar: https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_1846448-Mercury-Cougar-1977.html I love the Malaise Era of American cars, so please understand I do feel affection toward thi...
