Re: Coupe with modification

I saw MM1 in December of 1980, and MM2 a year and a half later, and they changed my life. Thirtysomething years on and I'm still learning and seeing new things in the movies. I appreciate your willingness to share and I will devour it hungrily. Thanks!

Re: Coupe with modification

George, I've seen your name bandied about for decades. This is the first proof I've seen that you're actually real. :)

Nice to see you sharing your rare info/photos/insights. Cheers!

Feral Kid costume build

Hey, all. I've been away for a while but thought I'd come back to share. For the Wasteland World Car Show that took place last weekend, I wanted to dress my 9-year-old son as the Feral Kid but as he's growing fast, I didn't want to spend a lot on a costume he'd only wear once or twice at most. I fou...

Re: Fury Road full dialogue

That was my impression as well. However, the CaptiView closed captions said "Hunt them down." So did another (possibly official) subtitle source. It will be interesting to see what the Blu-ray says. I think I may change it back anyway, because it wouldn't be the first sub that doesn't agre...

Re: Fury Road full dialogue

Thanks for posting, rwmfp. I have revised the transcript so it's probably over 100% now, meaning I've included dialogue that is audible but not included in the closed captions. Interestingly (to me, anyway), there are several places where Max's dialogue doesn't match his mouth at all, or where what ...

Two new observations on yet another viewing of MM1

When Roop tears the hood off his Pursuit car, it lands with the underside facing up. In the next shot, as he comes around the front of the car, the hood is farther away and right-side-up. Assuming that the cameraman was holding the camera with his right hand, he could have held Roop's shotgun out th...
