MFP Jackets (again)... Angel Jackets

Just ran across this site... http://www.angeljackets.com/products/Rockatansky-Mad-Max-Leather-Jacket.html# Anyone familiar with their product? Also, has anyone gotten one of the new(er) Southbeach MFP jackets? I know Abbyshot is the best, but how does the SB compare for the price? Despite their clai...

Re: I'm confused on a few points

I think the bus issue was one of 'implied' strength. I mean, you see a car hit by a bus and to pick up the pieces you need... lots of time. You hit a bus with a car... and you could likely still drive the bus away. Add in some 'bullet proof' sheets of steel... well, I wouldn't try it. :) Besides, th...

Re: What makes The Road Warrior superior to Mad Max?

It's not really fair to compare the first two films as equals, when strictly in te ms of funding, they're not. MM1 cost, what was it $100,000 to make and MM2 a couple million? If MM1 had a million dollar budget I imagine we would have seen a few more car chases/action scenes. As it stands, I still t...

Re: Did anyone else not like Zetta?

Good question! On a scale of 1-100 (one being the worst, evilest bastard ever and 100 being Saintly) what would you give the following: 1. Jim Goose (Mad Max) -55/60 (generally 'happy-go-lucky') 2. Labatouche (Mad Max) -50 (self serving, not necessarily 'evil') 3. Max Rockatansky -50 4. Toecutter (M...

Re: What makes The Road Warrior superior to Mad Max?

To me, MM1 & RW are about equal, but because of my love of Goose's ride, and the YRBlue Pursuit/Interceptors (sorry to all the BoB fans), I have to go with the first film, even though the pacing is a bit too slow at times in the 'talky bits.' I won't even mention how disappointed I still am with...

Re: Max Max airsoft shotgun mods

I'm not sure how I feel about chopping up a hundred year old family heirloom. But if you did, you'd have a close-ish Thunderdome replica. :) I had a similar item years ago that was missing all the external parts (hammers, locking lever and stock) and I ended up giving it to a buddy. Then a few years...

Thanks mate, already sent them a question through the 'contact' link.

Looking forward to seeing what they're able to put out!

Ironic since I just posted a question in the other thread, before I found this one. :)

You have a PM.

Re: So what's the latest on the Goose's Kwaka?

Is Toecutterz still selling the goose bike fairings? The web site is linked into madmaxcars and there's no pricing or other availability info.

Any idea how much they are?

Thanks,

Russ

Re: Max Max airsoft shotgun mods

Yep, I took the whole works apart... and put it back togeather... several times. :) Kept messing up the reassembly by having one piece or another out of place. :) In the photo of my top strap, the safety lever looks silver, but it's actually just worn. All the high points have had the paint removed....
