I sold some XB parts on Ebay the other day, and the guy picked them up in his XB Coupe Convertible.
In my opinion XB's don't make very good looking convertibles, but this guy was trying to turn a bodgy job into a half-decent job so I gotta give him credit.

March Hare is an Interceptor though, but it must be the poverty-pack compared to Max's Interceptor.

Re: The GS at little river
I forgot I had this, but all my Little River photos are on a Photobucket website. I set it up after Easternats last year (probably the only time I've used Photobucket).

Re: The GS at little river
Cool photos, Goslin. I first took my Coupe down in 2001, not too long after you I guess.
I'm glad Little River hasn't changed. Being so close to Melbourne it seems to have survived the suburban sprawl. It's such a peaceful area to drive around. How's the serenity...

Fifi is a girl's name in Australia. That probably explains why Fifi MaCafee is a tough guy, he would've had to defend himself quite a bit when he was a kid!

Re: hardtop prices
I reckon you got a bargain, Doug, don't you? Your's had a motor and everything! hehe.
I actually paid more for my old XE Fairmont Station Wagon than you paid for your coupe. Times have changed.

The motor ran perfectly the day before. lost ignition somewhere under the dash. checked fuses.no had to hot wire straight to coil to get started. coil got too hot from running 12 volts straight to it. Dizzy???? plugs? leads? rotot button? points? I'll go right through everything when I catch up on ...

The locals might be inside watching Bathurst like the rest of the country, Sam, lol

Re: Visiting Australia
I think I remember seeing Clay Pigeon Shooting on Sydney Weekender once, and that was open to the public without need for a gun license. But generally speeking, shooting and guns aren't maintstream sports here. Aussie foods are similar to American foods, but we don't fry as much, hehe. We have McDon...
