Re: MadMax on GO

I remember once during the 80s, one of the networks was advertising Mad Max 2 and claiming that it was going to be uncut. As it turned out, there were quite a few bits cut out from the film. I don't know why TV networks are dishonest like this. And the copy they showed was pretty poor quality with ...

Cant recall ever seening any edited versions of MM2 on aussie TV either.
I think Mad Max 2 had the steel Boomerang in the head scene taken out, I don't think we get to see the Boomerang embedded in the Blond fellas head.

Re: MadMax on GO

If ya watchin Neighbours or Home and away, ya probably don't watch Max Max films.... Max is playes once every year or two. Not sure if there is a TV edit for the first. There is definately a TV edit od MM2. You don't need to watch Neighbours or Home and away to know what channel they play on, when ...

Re: MadMax on GO

Ok cool I must have missed Mad Max 1 being advertised, as for which channel, most movies/shows will be on a certain channel, like Neighbours you know is on channel 10, Home and away is on 7, so Mad Max would have been on a particular channel, before Digital TV it looks like it would have been a chan...

Re: MadMax on GO

In Australia? which channel? I think I remember 2 or 3 being shown over the years, just like Back to the Future, they only seem to play number 2 all the time.

Re: MadMax on GO

I don't ever remember Mad Max 1 ever being shown here in Australia on TV, I might be wrong, I always thought of it as never being able to be shown on TV because of it's "R" rating, GO advertised it as "MA" maybe it should be re rated on the DVD/Blu-ray release, I couldn't see any...

Re: Mad Max Fan Film

How did all the actors go with the Australian accents? what about making all the vehicles right hand drive? being set between Mad Max 1 and Mad Max 2 it only makes sense to make it completely Australian.

Re: ''Edge Of Darkness''

Just watched the trailer to Edge of darkness, liked it, it doesn't look like Mel has any trouble with the action scenes, he has said he is too old to play another Max, Edge of darkness proves he can still move pretty quick, why doesn't Mel suggest to George Miller that the character of Max dies in t...

It looks like and ordinary automotive distributor body! with some "extra" pieces attached to it.
