Will Furiosa have an Aussie accent this time?
Does anybody know the story behind why Charlize didn't have one, while other actors surrounding her like Tom, Zoë and Riley are clearly having a crack?

Mcfarlane Toys doing Mad Max
I'm calling it, purely based off this figure review: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tVgQkhy1YNY and of course, The Batmobeast they released earlier. But also their proximity to Warner given they've got the DC license. Anyone know anything? My guess though is that they'll stick to the Furyverse, maybe...

Jeremiah was turned into a TV series in 2002. In the first ep here, https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6n9fev,
you'll see the black female protagonist towards the end, and they're talking about, ahem, a place called Valhalla, funnily enough

Re: (VIDEO) How Mad Max Movies Were Made: Part 2
You've missed some things. Russell Hoban says in the unedited version of that interview here, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8XJ_LNF_lAk at 1:14.07 that he had a dinner arranged to meet George Miller during the 1986 Adelaide Festival of the Arts. It was actually 1984. So the script would've been fina...

Mego Mad Max Toys a possibility
The head of Mego recently stated he'd flown down to Oz and met with George about it. He seemed fairly positive.
I suppose eventually there'll be every type of toy. But a Mego line with vehicles would be something to behold.

Just noticed; the bad guy controlling the pole would leave Max on the pole horizontal-wize after seeing
his comrade get knocked off, ordinarily. Not bring him back up as if to spare him.

Re: The Merchandise Begins!
I think I figured out why these?! I don’t think they need actor approval. They’d fall under ‘caricature’ surely! Which means it’s probably the actors’ reticence holding up action figure/doll production. Perhaps they don’t want to cheapen the legacy? Or, based on looking back on Taipan’s posts...

Re: Fury Road "Black & Chrome" Edition releasing Dec.6th US
Warner Brothers are just culling bits from the bigger boxed set that will be released some time next year. It's been a yearly
thing they do until the bigger one comes out. Last year you got MM1 documentary, this year MM2 documentary.
I'd just wait til next year.
